I don't know but Wolf Blizer lost.
It got so bad the candidates simply started ignoring his questions to answer the audience questions.
How long do we have to put up with this egomaniac Junk Media moderators?
Could we have ONE debate hosted by a rational adult like Brit Hume instead of these egomaniac clowns who keep trying to interject their own political dogmas into the debate?

Here is the net effect:
Perry goes up and Romney, Bachmann get lower. Everyone else stays about the same. This isn't rocket science.

Newt won the debate. Ron Paul was the biggest loser for the al qaeda remark and the stupid fan who wanted sick people to die.

Why does a debate need a moderator asking questions? A MUCH better debate format would have the moderator giving each candidate a turn to ask another candidate a question. Stupid questions would then reflect poorly on the candidate asking them. Oh, now I see the problem, the media would not be able to frame the debate.
I just can't see:
Moderator: "Mr. Romney, you have 30 seconds to ask Mr. Cain a question."
Mr. Romney: "Mr. Cain, I have one question for you: 'Deep dish or Pan?'"

Anybody else getting a sinking feeling that the establishment may win again and we may wind up with Willard Romney as our nominee? I know none of us will vote for him, but I know plenty of others outside of FR who would.
The only other currently declared candidate with a shot at taking him out is Perry, and the establishment is hammering away at him. They even managed to convince Bachmann to attack him from the left last night, and Palin was blasting away from the right.
For the first time, I am beginning to believe we are going to manage to screw this up and send the Kenyan back to office for a second term. If Romney manages to win the nomination, he hasn't a prayer in the general.

Newt Gingrich won again (my opinion and I am by no means a Gingrich advocate). Ron Paul took a big hit defending, perhaps unintentionally, the attacks of our enemies. Perry and Romney, being two peas in the same pod, showed the most friction. Perry took the bigger hit of the two ... actually being boo'd at one point by the Tea Party host for his immigration stance. Bachmann might slip a bit by personalizing the Gardasil issue. Santorum should gain; he nailed his points and kept the Gardasil issue policy centered. Blitzer missed an opportunity to put the Tea Party FairTax question to Cain, and so once again Cain did well but did not excel.
Overall : Gingrich up, Paul way down, Perry and Bachmann down a little, Huntsman and Cain status quo, Santorum tiny gain (maybe), and Romney a tiny loss (maybe).

TODAY Romney cut threw the fluff.. and accused Obama of Union payback.. in South Carolina..
He must be learning from NEWT!!..
Thats the first intelligent comment heard from Myth Romney..
I say ... “God bless him”... go on the attack Myth..
Newt, Perry and Romney(NOW) are in “the GAME”...
Michele Bachmann was in the game from the “git go”...
Even Ron Paul has “posed” some very good questions..
Even though those questions are IGNORED by the rubes and RINOs..
Its true however that Ron presents his arguments like a first grader..
The U.S,, SHOULD pull back some of its military presence on this globe.. not all but some of it..
If South Korea can’t itself deal with the Norks WHO CAN!..
The U.S.. with bases beyond an embassy... in Germany is OBSCENE... same in Japan..
Japan NEEDS to handle its own “SECURITY”...

Dick Morris is correct in stating that Michele Bachmann did well last night. Aside from being the strongest of the candidates in her opposition to Obamacare, she tore into Perry for his executive order mandating (with parental opt-out) schoolgirls in Texas to receive Guardasil vaccine to reduce their risk of cervical cancer. Bachmann not only pointed out that this was inappropriate state intrusion into the girls' parents right to make medical decisions for their daughters, but that the executive order could have been linked to a Perry campaign contribution by a former chief of staff now working as a lobbyist for Merck, Guardasil's manufacturer. So Bachmann was saying that Perry's order was tyrannical and hinted strongly that it might have been corrupt as well. A good measure of revenge for Bachmann here against Perry, who had upstaged her when he entered the primary field on the same day she won the Iowa straw poll.
