Tim: Well, that’s no ordinary rabbit.
King Arthur: Ohh.
Slow news day. Two bunny stories on freepers in one day.
Yeah. I heard that, actually. I’ve just never seen it. Have you? I have rabbits in my kitchen garden (they’re pinned until fall when I let them eat up the garden and play out all winter. Mine “go” in a certain area most of the time, but not 100% by any stretch of the imagination.
Pretty close to 100%. I’ve has two bunnies as pets.
....................Only had one really big problem....it was chewing on our electrical chords....................
Yeah, that’s a problem.!
When we built our last house, we had all the wall outlets serviced by GFI’s, to be sure to trip if a tooth went into a cord, immediately killing power.
We also had a floor lamp that was six feet away from the wall, so we cut off the original plug, snaked on a six foot SS covered clothes washer hose, new plug - and no more bunny interest in that wire.
Great little adult friends!!!
How loud can it be when a rabbit scratches on it’s chest? What are they crickets?
It ain’t the sound, it’s the PAIN...rabbits can claw and if one jumps up to you and starts raking away...well, you ever had an angry cat lay into you with claws? Same basic idea.
All of our rabbits have been litter box trained. Our current bunny was trained before we even took her home from the store.
They do have different personalities regarding chewing. Our other bun buns haven’t wanted to chew - this one chews everything and we have to bunny proof her parts of the house so she can’t get to the cords, etc.
If you keep your rabbit in a cage, he will always poop in the same area. They re-eat some of their poop to get certain minerals etc that can only ge gotten from their own feces.....the rest make great fertilizer for your flower garden....
Never pick up a rabbit during a fire. They have big tooths.
