Oh my, I had a pet rabbit that was litter trained. Only had one really big problem....it was chewing on our electrical chords.

We had a litter trained rabbit named Flopsy. At age 10, she ate the Easter eggs that the Easter Bunny had hidden in the living room. Chocolate is poisonous to rabbits and while it did not immediately kill her it caused serious personality changes. She went from very sweet to mean and died a few months later.

A friend of ours had one that chewed an electrical cord and was shocked so badly it blew the enamel right off the rabbit’s teeth.

Yeah, that’s a problem.!

When we built our last house, we had all the wall outlets serviced by GFI’s, to be sure to trip if a tooth went into a cord, immediately killing power.

We also had a floor lamp that was six feet away from the wall, so we cut off the original plug, snaked on a six foot SS covered clothes washer hose, new plug - and no more bunny interest in that wire.

Great little adult friends!!!
