Anyone else feeling let down about this?

Nope. Santorum is right. And why pick on him? All of our candidates are going to stay as far away from birther lunacy as possible.

birther lunacy

While I agree that Obama's questionable eligibility status should not be an issue for election 2012 (it's been sitting on the lap of Boehner for years now but he failed the American people and refused to look into it).

Thanks to Obama, we are ALL American citizens unless PROVEN otherwise now. The birther issue is no more of a lunacy than being against Illegal Immigration.

You cannot pick and choose how we determine who is legal and who is not here legally anymore than we can pick and choose which parts of the US Constitution we follow and which parts we throw out.

There is NOTHING that proves that Obama was born in the United States. Nothing. Nobody uses a file on computer as documents you present. It's not acceptable. Sorry.

I can just hear you singing that old song, "Barack Hussein Obama - mmm, mmm, mmm!"

“All of our candidates are going to stay as far away from birther lunacy as possible.”

Which begs the question.......Is following the Constitution, namely Article II, lunacy?

Apparently you seem to think so.

Nope, Santorum is not right. He shares the same fallacious understanding of the 14th amendment as most Americans.
