Reagan was “old enough for a cardiac” the whole time that he was President!
The FOX hosts last night couldn’t keep the look of disdain off their mugs last night while questioning true prolife conservatives Santorum and Bachmann.
If Newt is so smart, why does he have 2 bad ideas for every 1 good idea?
Newt is just another pol who will say or do anything for love - even sit on a bench with pelosi proclaiming the horrors of Globull Warming.
No thanks, Newtster!!!!
Newt can’t change spouses anymore.
He’s Catholic now. ;)
OTOH, if my uncle had only been plumbed a little bit differently, he might have been my auntie.
I have been leaning towards Perry since he got in but he was pathetic last night. I think I’ll hang with him alittle longer to see if he can wiggle out of this. He’s wrong on immigration but I’m not a one issue guy. Newt was really good last night and I would not have a problem with his personal stuff. in a debate Newt would hand Zero his head!

It was supported by Perry as Governor and he is leader of his party the - GOP -. Therefore it becomes “his” program like it or not vis a vis the GOP controlled Leg.

Border fences have proven to be fantastic force multipliers. Cases in point: The border fence separating East and West Germany. Israel built a border wall to partially separate it from the west bank. NOBODY does border security like the Israelis. Ask the Germans how mqany escaped from East to West Germany across the border. Damn few. There are millions of “pro-fence” Texans and many many more “pro-fence Americans”. Perry is anti-fence, as are a lot of RINO GOP Texas House members, because they are bought and paid for by their big bidness $$$$$ donors who want the steady flow of cheap labor. Illegals are big bidness in Texas. It means the difference between less profit and BIG profit for some like large home builders and restaurant chains. I get to subsidize their illegal alien employees health care and educating thier spawn a la my tax dollars.

PARTIAL MYTH

Yes.. Immigration is the FED governments job. But, Perry could have backed Jan Brewer UNEQUIVOCALLY. Instead, he said: “An Arizona style immigration law wouldn’t
be right for Texas”. It sure was right for Alabama, and they are not even a border state!! Debbie Riddle - (R)-Tomball,TX proposed, as did Leo Berman (R) - Tyler, TX
some very tough immigration legislation in the last, lame azz sesion of the Texas legislature. Where did their bills go? Nowhere... thanks to Ricardo Perry and and his amigo house speaker Jose Straus. All squashed by bought and paid for, cheap labor lovin members of the Texas House. Oh and that 400 Mil you mentioned. Texas loses more that that in a week in paper clips. That’s a beard that Perry wears so that he can beat his chest about ALL that he’s done for border security. Perry deserves an oscar in kabuki theater
for that.

MYTH

Perry had absolute power to get the Sanctuary City bill passed and the political stroke to do so, but let it die because of heavy pressure brought by a certain “large home-builder CEO” from Houston, who happens to be the biggest $$$$$ GOP donor in the State of Texas. Another large food store chain CEO added his big mouth to the party, and as if by magic, the bill died “before it could get voted on”. Damn!!! it hate when that happens. Texas House Speaker Jose Straus, undoubtedly, played a critical role here too, rolling some delaying tactics in the wee hours when it was all playing out.
Oh... and if the legal Hispanic citizens of Texas don’t mind illegal immigration, then I suppose then that they wouldn’t mind if 250K Chinese starting coming in this year.... because they will if you tell them to just get here and get a job and then they can stay. If we did that the hypocritical basterds at La Raza would be having fits about how “unfair” it is for Chinese to be taking jobs away from illegal Mexicans.

Your points fail. And you boy Perry failed too.
“Adios Mofo” to him..............
You are right.. It is not FNC’s fault that Perry stumbled!
We all saw it..... and we can’t deny that he just wasn’t prepared.
I am still undecided who I like the best but Cain has been at the top most of the debates.
“Bet you’re not feeling cleaver ?!?...now. ; )”
Sarcasm is lost on you, eh?
Somebody hasnt been doing his French homework. :) Faux in French means false. Hence False News. It was a clever play on words, albeit one used by liberals extensively over the past 5-years or so.
It’s PRONOUNCED “Foe.” I’m stuned that you didn’t no that.
maybe you jess dunt no. (why didnt I think of that....)
Because you are not too bright? No sense of humor? Wouldn’t know a bon mot from a mot juste??
I was being sarcastic.
One supposes in addition to Faux, you might want to thumb over to...Irony.
So, you are hanging your hat on his ‘debate prep team’ ???
Try this.

Oh, please. Fox (and, sadly, National Review) have been pimping Senor Mittens for ages now as the “frontrunner.”
Don’t speak fag.
That’s the perfect word. ; )
“I was being sarcastic.”
Good thing you weren’t trying for funny.
Looking to see who your prefer in the GOP and all that can be found is anti-Perry, page after page. Sometimes that can be easily mistaken for a verboten one here on FR.
That alone sure retracts from credibility to offer anything Perry without your standard anti-Perry bias.
Sounds like you either don’t really understand the Constitutional relationship between Texas Legislatures and Texas Governors or that uhaul is still warm.
Thats the perfect word. ; )
...or phrase. Just as I thought.
