One week after suffering a concussion in a rough-and-tumble loss to the Falcons, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick broke his right hand on what he considered a late hit in Philadelphia's 29-16 loss to the rival New York Giants.

Many fine upstanding citizens weep into their hankies over the mistreatment of a canine; which I agree, is undoubtedly a crime and a shame.
But I feel confident that MOST of these people, if approached with a request to not only work against cruelty to animals, but to also campaign against the abortion industry and save innocent babies from being murdered in their mother’s womb, they would spit in your face! That’s why I take all the animal rights malarkey with about ten pounds of salt!
The animal rights wacko’s are that kind of nuts, but cruelty to animals like this is simply stupid. No doubt that abortion is ten million times worse.
Some of what happens with the players these days is simply disgusting.
Like it or not, at some point this man deserves credit for paying the penalty and from what I have seen of him, actually repented of his crimes. It would be refreshing to see that sentiment expressed on a site that professes to be filled with the Spirit of Christianity...
I'm right there with ya...
Michael should be most worried about those in the NFL.
And there seems to be quite a number of em.
who cares!? He did his pentence...will you never let go of it? Good lord...
Somewhere, a pit bull is smiling.
But if some other dog lover who happens to work for the NFL as a defensive end doesn't I won't lose any sleep, either.
That photo was hilarious. Thanks.
“...will you never let go of it?”
No.
Dear Bean Counter,
Re our “Spirit of Christianity”: We let him live, which is more than he did for the animals helpless in his presence.
Re his “repentance”: He didn’t have any. Go back and look at that tape again.
There are some real heroes who could use your encouragement these days; please don’t waste your sympathy on Michael Vick.
Awesome post.
Little people just cannot forgive even though Vick has paid his debt to society and is continuing to do dog related community service.
One reason some criminals reoffend is because no one will give them a second chance and hire them.
If you believe no one should be given a second chance, then don’t bother complaining when crime rates go up.
There, but for the Grace of God....
Karma is a wonderful thing.
Eagles fans embrace the dog killer because 97.65% of them would kill a dog if given half-a-chance.
“Little people just cannot forgive ...”
Your largeness is unimpressive.
Little people just cannot forgive even though Vick has paid his debt to society and is continuing to do dog related community service.
What are we supposed to do, burst into tears at news of his injury? Great guns.
No! I am very serious.
shame his hand or fingers were not bit by a dog , now that would have been justice
