I actually had to use this once, in a South Florida Park, against four Yutes who were armed with baseball bats. I won. (see my user name and avatar!) The extra long bolt on Two Octave neck provides excellent balance for a long, swift swing, perfectly balanced by the solid hardwood counterweight. The extra heavy strings and solid stainless steel bridge and pickups have sharp pointy edges and are an added bonus. My Les Paul doesn't leave the house and is designated "Music Only",
