Just as I was never a "Palinista," I'm certainly not going to go the other direction and attack her. All along I think (can't prove) that she was going to base her decision on testing the waters by the bus tour and movie; and that she privately polled after each; and that the #s among women and independents had not moved from their high negatives. So I think she made a sound calculation that she probably wouldn't get more than low double-digits in a primary race and that it would therefore be a little embarrassing.
That to me doesn't mean she's "in it for the dough," but that unlike Jon Huntsman or Ron Paul, she can actually read a tea leaf.
That to me doesn't mean she's "in it for the dough," but that unlike Jon Huntsman or Ron Paul, she can actually read a tea leaf. I'll speculate that Ron Paul has studied the tea leaves thoroughly, but (despite words claiming he's in it to win) his real goal is simply for his message to be heard. So far as Huntsman is concerned, I can't guess the nature of his malfunction.
