I understand that Lady Gag Gag will do the Super Bowl half-time show. What’s ESPN saying about her? Nada.
I don’t care who’s singing or not. As a Packers fan I don’t want to miss this game.
I have plenty of Hank Jr. on the jukebox to play during the commercials.
A Country Boy can survive . . .
Gotta give Barry this: How many athletes quit when they're ahead, at the top? So often, and it's especially true with fighters even more than football players, once-greats stay on too long. Barry didn't. Emmit, I think, did.
Interesting.
Where did you see that?
Here in Indy (where the SB will be played) all the rumors say Madonna. (another gagger, LOL)
Well these guys get heavy $$ in their declining years, and a lot of them are spendthrifts. So it’s easy to see why some of them have to be ushered to the exit.
I get that, but it's sad to see. It's always refreshing when someone realizes he can't play that top role and backs off.
Heck, it doesn't have to be sports. Some great actors are reduced to playing caricatures as they age... I'm sure it's partly that they want to be involved, and partly $$$$.
Have not watched it since they went to cable only!
Upon further consideration: FUNFL
Yeah that's really going to get viewers exited. What's he going to do..... read 18th century English poetry?
Got a couple of emails on it - then come to find out it was really taken out of context. Chris Brown said he’d like to perform with Lady GG at the Bowl but it’s a wannabe story. There’s a few out there calling for LGG to perform. Madonna is just as bad. As it’s said “my bad” ....
The NFL spent big bucks on dems in ‘08. Have not watched a Broncos game or any other since. F’em.
Nice to see the NFL has become another Liberal institution.
Pray for America
No kidding. The good thing is, we are at a state where we can openly ridicule it.
The bad thing is, there was actually a president who actually approved that.
My guy Barry! He does have a nice “church choir” voice.
Ping the mitten-list.
“Which is not to say that his employers aren’t louts.”
Louts or not, ESPN found that Hank Williams Jr. did not add value to their MNF product.
And since he did not add value, Hank was shown the door.
A good business decision.
08? I’m not that strong but MNF is done. I did scrap NFL after they screwed Rush but fell off the wagon after a year.
Talk about controversy...she is much more so than Hank could ever be...http://www.examiner.com/civil-rights-in-phoenix/local-latinos-enraged-over-lady-gaga-americano-song
