Blacks have been brainwashed into thinking Whitey owes them a living, and that if they vote for Democrats, they’ll get all kinds of free stuff. Now this brainwashing has spread to college students and union workers.

I remember a popular book out when I was a young kid. It was called “The Lies you were taught in school” or something like that. It was written simply so your average head full of mush could understand it. It was not a political nor deep academmic screed but it was written by a lefty to undermine the student’s blind trust in common knowledge Americans learned in history lessons.

We need a a section on lies you were told about the constitution and founding fathers, for sure and a section on the lies you were told in social studies; covering diversity or multicultural history lies would be great for students. My son was a history buff and in junior high realized the number of lies delivered to students in
social(ist) studies was pitiful.

Lyndon’s Great Society just evolved into “Great Checks”.
Newspeak alert!

Socialists use the words "public" or "society" interchangeably as euphemisms for the word "government." When LBJ spoke of a "Great Society," he meant nothing other than a great government.

Common Sense

By Thomas Paine
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamities is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer! Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform, and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises him out of two evils to choose the least. Wherefore, security being the true design and end of government, it unanswerably follows that whatever form thereof appears most likely to ensure it to us, with the least expense and greatest benefit, is preferable to all others.

I was listening to a radio program while walking the dogs and was thinking what a coincidence between your thread and that program. Check out the promo from the 860 WGUL email:

Patriots' Ink with Glenn Pav - Saturday 4 PM
"Hello, I’m Glenn Pav, Talk Show Host for Patriots’ Ink “Righting the Right.”

"My guest will be National Speaker and author of Stolen History, Frank Kebreau who says, “Slavery (the ultimate form of tyranny) has never been a battle between Black vs. White. It has always been a battle between Good vs. Evil.”

"Listen to this Retired Navy Lieutenant Commander and member of the Black Robe Regiment inform and inspire you to keep “Righting the Right” Saturday at 4pm on Talk Radio 860 WGUL."

He was interesting. For example, I had never thought about abortion the way he explained it. Since I'm looking for a good book to read, I think I'll pick up his book Stolen History. Thought you might be interested, too.

Even back in 1957 I had a teacher tell me that "society" was the same thing as "government."
Which is basically socialist propaganda.

My previous post to you has an error from the website. His name is Frantz Kefreau, not "Frank".

His website is definitely worth a look.

Yep, if you rob Peter the pay Paul, you’ll always have Paul’s vote.

Was never taught this

During the Garfield vs. Hancock election a handbill was passed out as a reminder of who the Democrats were. It would be considered inflammatory language today, but if you were at age to still remember the Civil War and was handed this handbill, it was very profound and true.

Why I will not Vote for the Democratic Ticket

I am opposed to the Democratic Party, and I will tell you why.

Every State that seceded from the United States was a Democratic State.

Every man that shot Union soldiers was a Democrat.

Everyman that loves slavery better than Liberty was a Democrat.

The man that assassinated Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat.

Every man that sympathized with the assassin – every man glad that the noblest President ever elected was assassinated – was a Democrat’

Every man that wept over the corps of [end of] slavery was a Democrat.

Every man that cursed Lincoln because he issued the Proclamation of Emancipation – the grandest paper since the Declaration of Independence – every one of them was a Democrat.

Soldiers! Every scar you have got on your heroic bodies was given you by a Democrat. Every scar, every arm that is lacking, every limb that is gone, every scar is a souvenir of a Democrat.

The handbill then contrasted Republican and Democrats:

The Republicans have done some noble things – things that will be remembered as long as there is history. But there are some things they did not do.

They did not use an army to force slavery into Kansas…
They did not oppose emancipation/
They were not “Ku-Klux”
They did not scourge, and hang, and shoot, and murder men for opinions sake.
They did not organize the Louisiana white league or the South Carolina rifle clubs
They did not drench the South with the blood of inoffensive colored men…

I keep hoping for their comments on Herman Cain threads, especially since Sarah’s announcement. FRiends, where are you??

Right here. Had a busy weekend and didn't see this thread until tonight.

The gist of the original post is right on target. As a conservative, I guess you could call me a "Free Black", as opposed to a "Plantation Black". I've often used the plantation analogy when describing my intellectual and political emancipation from the left.

As to Herman Cain, I'm still watching and vetting. I'm a well-known Palinista, and well.....you know how I must feel right about now.
