I am waiting for the Herman-Cain-causes-cancer story. I am aware that the smears against him have commenced.
Attack machine started with Palin, moved to Bachmann, then to Perry, now to Cain. The others aren’t high enough in the polls to warrant concern by the commies, except Romney who strangely has a pass.
If Herman has skeletons, he needs to get them out and out of the way early; otherwise he’ll end up in the toaster.

The game of the R Establishment and the MSM has been to knock out Perry by smearing him and taking his poll numbers down - just as they did with Palin - because they know he would beat Obamalini and would be dangerous to them as President. To take his poll numbers down over the last few weeks they have given Cain the “kid gloves” treatment and more exposure. Now that Cain is up, who would also be bad for the MSM and the R Establishment if he were elected, they are going to start giving him the Palin/Perry treatment and continue until he is radioactive. Then, voila, the candidate that the R Establishment wants, and the MSM wants Obamalini to run against, walks off with the nomination.
Yes, Mittens is likely to be the “McCain” of 2012, and we will have done it to ourselves by allowing ourselves to be influenced by the press and “commentators” with an agenda.

I really think the Cain supporters should take a step back and look at the “coincidental” connections Cain has with questionable (unethical/immoral/ disingenuous).
You all are so quick to attack Perry because he was a Dum in 1988. Or stood with a bunch of low level Dums as “supporter” of Gore in 88. (no one knew Gore was crazy as loon back then) But hey Perry should have been clairvoyant.

We must always remember that Slick Willie mostly invented the instant response to negative stories. It is a tactic that is designed to prevent them from sticking by getting in the last word.
