FWIW, I thought to check the James Randi ("The Great Randi") site to see if Rossi and his e-cat ever came up. It turns out that there are 50 pages in the forum about it:

It turns out that there are 50 pages in the forum about it: randi.org" FWIW, Dr. Guiseppe Levi (who has overseen and done many of the early Rossi tests) and one of the Swedish physicists that witnessed some of those tests, were both members of either Randi's group, or similar national groups affiliated with it.
