Before the new jobless numbers were released this morning, the AP ran this article predicting new jobless claims would increase from 401k to 405k:

WASHINGTON-AP — The number of people seeking unemployment benefits probably ticked up last week, a sign the job market is stagnating.
Economists forecast that initial claims for benefits rose 4,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 405,000, according to a survey by FactSet. That would be the second straight increase, after a steep fall the previous week.

When the labor department later released its numbers showing the 401k had only INCREASED to 404k, the AP now reports a DECREASE in new claims:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The number of people applying for unemployment benefits was mostly unchanged last week. A slight dip in applications suggests the job market isn't getting much better.
Applications ticked down 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 404,000, the Labor Department said Thursday.

So to recap: Last the number was 401,000. Before the new numbers come out the AP says that the 401k will increase to 405k. Then the labor department releases its numbers and says 404k (an increase of 3,000 from the previous week) and the AP simply swallows the claim and changes its earlier report of an increase to say its actually a decrease.

In truth, they never got OUT of full swing campaign mode. I first noticed the distinct media bias back in the mid to late ‘70s and have never seen a move toward objectivity since. And that is just when I happened to notice it. Some media outlets are just more unashamedly blatant about it than others.
Their campaign to promote their liberal/progressive agenda is never ending.
While we’re at it, maybe we should be celebrating record numbers on foods stamps as ‘economic stimulus’ and achievement of “Great Society’ ideals.
which is why think the real group we need to focus on and who are the biggest enemies to this country is our media.
It is shocking that most people I talk to have never heard of ACORN, Ayers, Wright, black panthers,now the green energy solar pay back , fast and furious etc etc etc.
The left is getting away with all of this because their media does not inform the public and while we keep the currant media the left will continue to do their lefty , homosexual agenda.
Speaking of which , how many times do we hear about homosexuals having sex in public like folsom fair, getting kids and then raising them as the other sex, teaching in schools .

It looks like typical liberal and DC math.
Only in DC and the MSM can someone cover 33 million additional people, charge them 10 years’ worth of fees for 6 years of services, increase premiums for everyone and STILL call that a substantial savings.
