More Regulations Only Attract More Lawsuits-Cutting Regulations Will Cut Government Litigation Cost

The U.S. government spends who knows how many billions via its own lawyers suing everybody under the sun over its own insane gazillions of regulations. And it probably spends a similar huge amount defending challenges to its huge pile of regulations. I suggest aside from saving businesses a lot of wasted money and time, we could dramatically cut the cost of government by:
1)Eliminate most of the govt. depts. and their regulations
2)Eliminate most of the govt. lawyers who enforce them

It has been estimated that the U.S. Forest Service spends over half of its annual budget fighting environmentalist lawsuits. The other day the BLM reasoned that it could not support an environmentalist's request to add the "mojave ground squirrel" to its endangered species list (they overrun my property every season).
One day while waiting to be x-rayed, I noticed that there were 4 separate Inspection Permits on the wall. One from the city, the county, the state and a federal agency...each one for the inspection of the x-ray bulb once a year. That means there are 4 bozos driving around in a govt. car duplicating each other's duties every year. Why not just have the radiologist inspect it himself, which he probably already does to protect himself from lawsuits.

It is axiomatic that the size and expenses of the lobbying industry is 100% relative to the reach of the regulatory regimes.

Some less-than-better-informed people call it “petitioning for redress of grievances” when they want the U.S. Congress to bestow some favors on, or remove some burden from them, and for which they become active in trying to obtain that result, but call it “corruption” when private businesses do the same thing.

Where did this out-of-whack notion develop that one segment of “the people”, the individual, is SUPPOSED to lead “protest movements” but those in charge of the peoples private enterprises are suppose to just suffer in silence while the political class arranges its restrictions on them.

Forgive me but it seems that nine times out of ten I think the protesters and populist sentiment is less-well informed of the facts than are the “lobbyists” - generally.
