We’re just 24 business hours away from Perry’s vaunted plan unveiling!

Can anyone else feel the excitement?

I think it’ll go something like this:

Watching now.

Glad to see the Governor taking my advice. ;^)

The border talk is hollow coming from Perry.

The energy plan is good, although there is broad agreement from the candidates on that, Bachmann even wants to drill the Everglades

But the idea that he has nothing to say on taxes in response to a direct question, not even being able to talk in general principles, leads me to suspect his handlers are the ones coming up with the plan and then they will teach it to Rick and try to get him to sell it.

That is pure speculation. Two can play that game.

Cain said that his chief economic adviser is Rich Lowrie. So Lowrie creates 999 and Cain sells it. No difference.

I thought he came off a little too laid back. It takes him to long to get his points out and slam the other guy (Mittens).

So is Rick going to hire a “history advisor” to advise him on things such as in which century the American Revolution occurred? LOL.

No it isn’t hollow. Governor Perry has spent time, 400 million dollars, and much effort to secure the border. Maybe you don’t know it, but it is the job of the federal government to control illegal immigration. How can a state do this without the federal government’s cooporation?

No, not really. The money, the Texas Rangers and so forth is targeted against border crime, in particular the drug cartels. It has little to do with stopping illegal immigration.

As president, a President Rick Perry would do very little fencing except for some public relations fencing in some urban areas and he would increase appropriations for forces on the border for a couple of years. Then he would declare the border “secure” enough, though not perfect, and proceed to legalizing the illegals through his preferred guest worker program.

Look, the gratuitous attacks aren't funny. They're stupid.

I was giving my observation of your opinion. You rebut with 3rd grade spitball nonsense. LOL

Imo, Perry only has himself to blame for his weak debates. But a slip of the tongue is not a big deal.

Relax. Some of you real hard-core true-believer Perry-or-die people seem to be absolutely freaking out over his swan dive. My advice: stay away from sharp objects.

By the way, I would be in favor of Cain getting an ice cream flavor advisor, for what it’s worth.

He takes too long to slam Mittens?

Since he is the only candidate slamming Mittens, you should be happy that someone is doing it.

Not freaking out. Check out my posts today on the Perry nosedive. My objective analysis is always alive and truthful.

With Perry at 9% in the Rasmussen poll no good reason to kick him when he’s down. You guys kicked him on the way up and now on the way down. Must make you feel good. LOL

Oh please, what are you guys humorless robots over there at Perry campaign HQ?

When Cain says he’s not the flavor of the week and then happens to name a Haagen-Dazs flavor (black walnut) that actually was a temporary flavor, I don’t care who you are, that’s kind of funny.

Same for these Perryisms, and I have a feeling he’s going to keep us well supplied.

You made a serious comment about Perry and his handlers. Then you started in with the ridicule. Stop the bs already. You look stupid.

You've been on FR for 6 months and you're already a juvenile delinquent. LOL

You made a serious comment about Perry and his handlers.

Yes, and a comment that was well-deserved based on Perry's poor grasp of issues in the debates.

That bit in the Florida debate when Perry turned to Romney to tell him he was a flip-flopper and was trying desperately to remember the lines given him by his handlers was especially pathetic.

Cain, on the other hand, does not need highly-paid slick professionals to coach him up before the debates. From an interview with his COO:

“Herman Cain is not handled,” he said, explaining the role the candidate plays in the campaign. “Who writes his speeches? Herman Cain. Who prepares all of his talking points? Herman Cain. Who gets him ready for stuff? Herman Cain,” Block said. “We don’t tell Herman Cain what to do.
