I’m still amazed at the sheer luck of the prez & foist lady walking into a shelter just ONCE in their lives and finding a show-quality purebred Portuguese Water Dog... wow. That’s amazing.
What? Well, that’s how the Press reported it...
I don’t believe the family ever owned pets before, and I have always thought they simply acquired the dog as a prop.
Now, once they had it, they may have come to the conclusion that, hey...dogs are fun, etc.
But I still thought they were just acquiring a PR tool.
