The worst spin I have ever seen from the MSM was from the Jena, LA story of five black men who ganged up on one white high schooler. Even though they put the kid in the hospital, somehow the MSM managed to convince the entire country that the black men were the victims. Even some on Free Republic were fooled.

Nothing, and I do mean nothing, the MSM does surprises me anymore. They don't even try to hide their bias these days. In fact, some wear it as a badge of honor. But they are becoming more irrelevant every day. They are still powerful but no longer have a monopoly on information they way they use to. But don't sell them short. They are still powerful and won't go down without a fight. And they are more than willing to take the country down with them or at least try.
