It might be just basking in the glory. It’s still not going anywhere but I brought it some food and water and it took a little, with a look of “It’s about time.” But I’ve never had a cat I’ve never seen before be so responsive and friendly yet just lay there. My cat is practically tearing the front door down trying to get out to the porch where the other one is!

If the cat is pregnant, you can feel little bumps in the tummy. (If she is far enough along)

Something doesn’t sound right here.
Even a very gentle cat would not just lay around after a fight with a dog. It could be hurt internally.

Sounds like our younger cat of the two (he’s 5.) About three years ago he just showed up on the deck and acted exactly as you describe your new friend. He’s been here ever since. He stared the dog and the older cat down for a week and now you’d think all three had grown up together.
