What happened? This thread died after 20 comments...

For such a "big deal" -- with promised hourly "data reports" -- this looks like Rossi et al dropped off the face of the earth...

BTW, does anyone know where (geographically) this "1 MW test" was supposedly taking place? Has anyone looked there for a great, smoking crater? /S

~~~~~~~~
Actually, a "conex" filled with the right air-hydogen mix might make an interesting bang. And, as sloppy as Rossi's hardware looked, a hydrogen leak might not be too surprising...
Oblique comments by Rossi about who the customer is/was/is and the promise of updates on the test by the customer who may have already began tests somewhere as yet undisclosed have given way to spasms of speculation.
Particularly that report from what I read here. Who was he again? Did he work for Motorola at all? What was his education? What was his background?
He's not a Phd. (for some reason everybody involved with this scam seems to get a title upgrade)
Robert J. (Bob) Higgins received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 1976. After completing his degree, he joined Motorola’s Applied Research Laboratory in 1976 as an Electronic Research Engineer. While at Motorola, he completed the Masters in Engineering degree in 1980 from Florida Atlantic University. In 2000, Motorola awarded Bob the title of “Dan Noble Fellow” for “Leadership in Communications Technology”. Bob has 28 issued U.S. and international patents in technologies ranging from component technology to systems. Today Bob is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in Motorola Solutions’ Chief Technology Office at its Plantation, Florida (USA) campus.
I wonder how Motorola is going to feel about their name being dragged into this mess.
