Video: Why Rick Perry will Win the GOP Nomination[Evan Smith]
Utah Pulse ^ | October 26, 2011 | VIDEO

Posted on 10/26/2011 2:05:24 PM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

Evan Smith on Bloggingheads.tv says, despite his fall in the polls, Rick Perry will likely best Mitt Romney in the contest for the GOP nomination.

Smith says Romney's support is "wide and shallow" while Perry's support is "narrow and deep," and he categorizes this election as a "narrow and deep" election.

He also says that, other than Jon Huntsman, there is no other candidate left in race whom, upon dropping out, would endorse Romney. He adds that the supporters of the other candidates would also not gravitate to Romney.

More power to him if he can do it without conservative support.

Quite honestly his support is narrow and shallow.

He's toast, and it's his own fault because he's a bad candidate that should never have entered the race. Bad record on illegals, and terrible at debating or speaking without a prepared speech. Only the Perry Krishnas still believe he's viable.

> Why Rick Perry will Win the GOP Nomination

1. Because he swallowed hard and “admitted” that Barrack Hussein 0bamao is a U.S. citizen?

2. Because the GOP elites see Mitt’s chances diminishing and they think we will vote for La Raza Rick?

3. Because Herman Cain scares the h*ll out of all the right people?

Romulus will have to pass through conservative primaries to win it.
He hasn’t done much to reach out to conservatives and Tea Partiers.

That’s gonna be tough for Anita to win without conservatives backing him.

I am starting to gravitate towards Perry, so I doubt it.

How is the citizenship of Obama the business of the governor of Texas?

I believe Cain and Newt would endorse Romney.

You do?!!!

Only if there's no one else standing in the GOP race against Obama.

I meant to say NATURAL BORN U.S. citizen.

As far as I know, that is STILL in dispute.

Perry’s concession indicates that he believes 0bamao meets the Constitutional requirements.

I do not believe any such thing, and La Raza Rick is now also one-worlder Rick.

I’m just SO SICK of people who have no idea what it’s like to have a REAL job, with authority over people who also have REAL jobs and REAL lives, not living large on the government teat most or all of their adult lives.

Newt will endorse Obama or Pelosi. I doubt Cain will endorse Romney.

No surprise from someone that supports La Raza Rick.

My parents were immigrants who escaped Mussolini’s Italy. They had to WAIT until the QUOTA would allow them to immigrate.

Millions of Mexicans just get a pass.

Even Barry gets a pass on the CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT of being a NATURAL BORN citizen.

Perry is obviously not concerned with citizenship or constitutional requirements for POTUS.

In my estimation, that DISQUALIFIES him for the office of POTUS.
