The next town up the road from mine is putting up their decorations already. I theorize that the work crew from First Baptist Church told them, “Do it now or we’ll be too busy!”
Wow, that is really sad. It won’t be long before people are putting up Christmas lights in August.
The local Home Depot had all the Christmas decorations out on the last week of September. Not sure if that was a national thing, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I have to admit I bought a couple of ornaments at the Hallmark store a couple weeks ago.
