Well, in a sense, *any* system will work if all the participants go along with it willingly. The problem isn’t the system(s). The problem is humanity. It’s just unperfectable, simple as that. We’ll all be better off when people realize that you can’t judge a system by how well it would work if humans were so perfect as to not need it anyway. You judge a system by how well it works WITHOUT 100% participation.
I think her defense of islam is like the left’s defense of communism. Its just hasn’t been implemented but the right people.
Yes, I agree. My point is, a system that only works when implemented by the *right* people is a bad system. Because *right* people are few and far between, and tend to grow old and die anyway, to be replace by more *wrong* people.

No! I am a theistic, former Christian. Although I considered becoming a Unitarian about forty years ago, I thank G-d that I did not, considering that they have become more of a social(ist) club than a truly divinely inspired religion.
