It was actually the BART police, not OPD, who were trying to sort out what happened.
If they had not let the driver go, I am certain the hoodlums would have instituted their own justice.

LOL! I noticed that there are A LOT more banned posters and removed posts over the last few weeks than usual. I check in periodically (originally from the city of SF, back when it was much better). I’ve never tried posting there, I think I would get banned right away....

The mob surrounded the car. You could see the car moving slowly forward and the people kept moving in front of it as if to stop it. He drove his Mercedes through the mob, same way as I drive my truck through a cattle herd...slow & easy, but keep moving & don't honk.
Too bad he "lurched"; almost as bad as a "swerve"...but I doubt a Mercedes has a granny gear.
