Felt quake in Halstead Kansas. Walls shook. Kids ran down stairs. It wasn't the kids horsing around
Is this a new tremor that just happened?
earthquakes in diverse places comes to mind. we are oh so close. expect iran and russia to hit israel within the next couple of years.
Epicenter was 45 miles East of OKC. One this morning at 0200, another one about an hour ago.
5.8 on the Richter scale near Norman, OK.
Last I heard was 5.6. Got a link to the 5.8 report?
It was a 5.6 nears Sparks, OK which is about 20 miles or so NNE of Shawnee, OK.

I felt the aftershock here in Wichita. I thought it was just a strong gust of wind at 1st.
Thread now says updated to 5.6.
I really thought it was a wind storm, but thought Earthquake as well. WOW, now I know.
Felt it (just barely) in North Texas (just north of Dallas). About 3 or 4 seconds of “why am I swaying in my chair?”
That's the perfect way to describe it. I was chatting with my brother on Skype after the LSU game and shot him a message saying "ummmmmmmmm my house is moving." I had to think twice about it to make sure I didn't have a brain tumor or something.
Congratations. We haven’t had more that a 4.9 in Tokyo in more than a week. I’m jealous.
