This photo has been going around the Internet the last two days claiming to be of Sharon Bialek and Herman Cain at TeaCon.
When this story first came out and she mentioned she went to TeaCon 2011, I was looking through a lot of photos people had on Flickr and other sites. This woman's photo came up often, but this is not Sharon Bialek. This woman was one of the hosts of TeaCon and appeared on stage, introducing many of the speakers. Here is another photo of her.

You can tell from this photo (same dress and hair) this is a completely different woman as Bialek but the the woman first photo.

You are right, I found the name associated with her photo at TeaCon a lot.
Unfortunately, that photo is going all over the internet claiming to be the encounter of Cain and BuyALick.
Any number of FReepers mistook that photo for Bialek yesterday. It was brought up on a number of threads that the facial features didn’t look right. And the caption on the Sun Times article correctly identified the woman, the article in fact being about her encounter with Sharon Bialek. That settled the issue, however rumors persist...

I posted the original article from the Sun Times yesterday, along with the photo. At that time, there was no caption.
Sometime after I posted it, the photo on the website was updated with a caption, identifying the woman as Amy Jacobsen. She was the person quoted in the story.
The comments on the Sun Times website were also questioning the identity of the woman. Apparently, an editor realized a clarification was needed.
In several blog or news sites the photo does not id this as Bialek. Mediaite has it correct- in the text of their article they state Bialek was there. The blond woman is said to have seen Bialek accost Cain and do the ear whisper.
The whole thing is a set up op by a qualified nut job who is probably in the pay of the demonrats— it’s how they work.
You know, like the couple in FL who were traveling and just happened to have a cellphone scanner and recorded a conversation between Boehner and Speaker Gingrich— back in those days.

Yes, you are correct. The picture taken at the TeaCon is of Amy Jacobson, and NOT Sharon Bialek. When the group photo was originally published at the Sun-Times along with Sneed’s column they didn’t have a caption up. The caption was added a little later in the morning.
It’s 100%, for sure, Amy in that picture next to Herman Cain. And that is Amy in the second picture as well.
According to Amy (through interview w/media no personal interaction), Sharon *stormed off* and joined the crowd after her little *chat* with Cain.
As I mentioned to you this morning in that other thread, I suspect her meeting with Herman Cain was a set-up. It doesn’t negate his statement in the news conference of not knowing her one bit. Anyone can walk up to you, introduce him/her self, hold a brief private conversation and walk away. Do you know that person? No. I think this entire event was staged to give credence to her account of knowing Cain.
Beck is still saying on his show this morning that is Sharon on the photo... uuugh
If you listen to that interview I linked to, between he and Amy Jacobson, she had to correct him a number of times on comments he failed to grasp; comments that were not unclear or misleading, IMO.
I think he has a rudimentary grasp of the issue and is more interested in commenting than getting to the facts.
Beck has not been told that’s not Bialek in the picture , he was just talking about it .
That’s a definite possibility. I keep thinking back to what Amy said - that Sharon kept asking over and over when he was going to be there, was he there yet, etc... etc...
It’s like she was making a point to let everyone around her know SHE was there, and exactly who she was there to meet with (people who traveled in her social & professional circles). If it wasn’t for her friends & business acquaintances being there I doubt she would have had any access to him at all.
I think all of this sounds like a set-up, frankly. To be seen and heard by people who knew exactly who she was. To give the appearance of *knowing* him well, etc... I’ve worked several campaigns and there are always situations where people who don’t know you at ALL will come up and be a little too friendly - like they’ve known you for years, but you honestly have no clue who they are!
Add that in with all of the other issues this woman has, and I frankly have serious doubts as to the veracity of her claims. I hope the opposition has overplayed their hand. I believe they just might have...
I submitted a “tip” through the Blaze website regarding the photo. I hope they actually read those!
You know, just realzied that no one has as yet dug up the poster from “Mandingo”....heck, maybe Ken Norton will endorse Cain..
Why should Herman Cain remember Bialek, if she hugged him that night? Just how many other blonde women hugged him during the course of the evening? Her name might even have been mentioned to him, but do you expect him to remember EVERY name mentioned to him during a large gathering like that?
Clint Eastwood did in an interview. It was on a thread here earlier today.
He may well remember that. But if he hadn't met her before, and it was the only exchange he had with this woman, he may well not recognize her as the same person. That's the point. The meeting 1 month ago doesn't negate his statement of not knowing her. Even if he did associate that meeting with this woman, he can still honestly claim not "knowing" her.
“I wonder if this is the one seen hugging Cain at the rally. If so, she should come forward to put that rumor to rest.”
No, she is Amy Jacobsen, and she is one of the people that reported seeing Bialek hug Cain at the rally.
