The LORD of The Bible does and will consume away the wicked even as your pictures show:

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Psa 58:7 Let them melt away as waters [which] run continually: [when] he bendeth [his bow to shoot] his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

Psa 112:10 The wicked shall see [it], and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Eze 22:20 [As] they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt [it]; so will I gather [you] in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave [you there], and melt you.

None of those verses are discussing a literal melting as portrayed by the moviemakers.

The Hebrew word translated “consume away” in the KJV of Zechariah 14:12 refers to flesh *rotting*.

The Hebrew word translated “melt” in the KJV of Psalm 58:7 means to reject or despise.

In Psalm 112:10, the wicked is gnashing his teeth because the righteous man is being rewarded for his honesty; all his plans and desires are being destroyed because of the fruit of the work done by the righteous man. This is a metaphorical use of “melt” to depict how the desires and plans of the wicked man are slipping through his grasp.

Ezekiel 22:20 speaks about the judgment which the people of Jerusalem will suffer for their sins. A metaphor is being used here to describe the judgment that the people of Jerusalem will endure. The point is: get rid of your dross (or slag, depending on the translation used)!
