Yep. The affable professor and that is his strength but also his weakness.

You sound just like Newt when he backed the socialist lefty republican back east rather then the conservative.

Bold colors not pastels!

He admitted on FNC that it was a big mistake to do that ad.

Why does he think it was a mistake? Has he attacked the climate hoaxers yet? If not, then he is still in that camp but he regrets the political backlash it has caused him.

I’m with you on this one. The Scozzafava bit was way too much to stomach.

Never forget the power of money in politics. Specifically the golden slacks of Goldman Sachs and the now defunct “carbon credits” commodity market they tried to start up. Many still pushing it because oil cos got into it for self defense and to create the next bubble now housing is for pooh.

Newt states publicly he was “nuts” to do this and also that cap and trade is insane. Though, Anne Coulter dismisses him from the CPAC log cabin wing.

Cain has shown the most strength. He has been criticized and hated on by the ‘smart’ people on both sides and they failed that should tell you something. Do you really believe Newt could’ve survived something like that when he didn’t even survive his own scandal in the 90s? He also has the best back story of coming from nothing to rise through his own hard work. I don’t want to re-fight the battles of the 90s nor return to the establishment of that time. That is the hand we have been dealt. Newt right now looks good for the moment. I like how he has knocked the media down a notch.

Agreed, and I have to admit liking Newt pushing back on all these rabid liberal host.

Newt needs to find his Conservative roots if he really ever had them, which I think he did.

For politicians like Mitt Romney, Conservatism is nothing but a politial strategy.

Cooties from Peloosi from the couch, yuck. But, she is under investigation, you know for her, uh, green investments. The solyndra thing and something about ethics and thievery.
So there should be some distance opening, some reality of thinking about where this was all coming from in the pump and dump investment world, and they hooked Newt too. I’m more upset he was “dialoging” with Hitlery. Beltway banditry.

All mirrors and smoke, just like this absolute harridan, whose daddy was mayor of baltimore and ran the democratic machine there. She moved to and looks like her constituency from the Castro district of San Fran (they luuuuv who they hate). Imagine waking up to that w/ or w/out makeup.

Time for people to grow up. This is old, unimportant, and irrelevant news.

Not just knocking the media down— doing it with sophisticated bright humor. Like the answer to Baritromo.
The CNBC journalist asked Newt in a huffy tone: “I’m sorry, but what is the media reporting inaccurately about the economy?”

Gingrich mocked her deftly, “I love humor disguised as a question. That’s terrific.”

In a debate with the barracka, he’d wipe him out. Smart and, also a real professor, not a fake one. And he, for one has actual understanding of the Constitution and how Congress works. Better baggage than the barracka pres.

I agree. Also, what is wrong with getting along with the “other” side? Heck, Herman Cain’s wife is a DEMOCRAT.

I sent Newt a msg and told him to read Christopher Horner’s books: “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming, and “Red Hot Lies”.

You cannot read those books and still believe in global warming.

Also, if you’re a video person, there is a great DVD, “Privileged Planet” - Amazing revelations regarding the Earth’s placement within the universe. Just a few degrees out of orbit one way and we would be a frozen planet like Mars, and just a few degrees the other direction and we would have been burned up by the Sun. If you have children, this is a great video - would make a special Christmas gift for the whole family.
