/www, /root folder, /root...won’t work. Error, failure to retrieve listing in red on the top panel.

Top panel should report
Status: Directory listing successful
unless your log in was unsuccessful.

Right click top panel select clear all.
Disconnect from server and attempt to reconnect again.
Pay attention to messages in top panel.

On the top toolbar there is a quickconnect button.
To the right is a down button.

Left click on it and select a previous connection
(Host, Username, Password, Port).

Click on the connection in the dropdown menu and see
if you get a successful Directory listing.
