Cain and Women: A former receptionist comes forward to dispute the allegations.
National Review Online ^ | November 22, 2011 2:30 P.M. | Robert Costa

In 1983, Eva Vachal, then 24 years old, was hired by Godfather’s Pizza... By 1986, when Herman Cain became president of the company, she was the corporate receptionist.

For the next decade — Cain’s entire tenure at the Omaha-based firm — she continued in that position, answering phones and assisting executives with various projects.

Vachal worked closely with Cain...

She was close with other young women in the office, especially the assistants to Cain and the rest of the Godfather’s brass. They frequently huddled over lunch and coffee, discussing, among other things, their bosses, including the company’s gregarious chief executive.

And never once, she says, did a woman raise an eyebrow about Cain’s conduct... Vachal says that during her entire career at Godfather’s Pizza, she never heard about any improper conduct, harassment, or inappropriate behavior by Cain...

“He was a true gentleman, always.”

In this day and age, that is scandalous. Next thing you know, some woman will come forward having filed sexual harassment charges because he held a door for her.

He would obviously have wanted something for that, right?

The attack on Cain was and is a hatchet job. Everyone knows this. They are simply trying to throw garbage out there about the man in order to persuade people who get their info still from the MSM that he has this problem that does not exist.

He never has showed indications of it before...then all of a sudden at the NRA a woman made an allegation and it was found to be completely without merit. now, years and years later, that a political hack site digs that up and trumps it up with the help of a leftist ambulance chasing lawyer who digs up a woman with obvious historical financial and legal problems, backed up be a known fraud of a boyfriend, to make a sleazy, nasty allegation that gets aired as if though it was true and Cain has to prove his innocence.

Thankfully, I believe he is past it...but it is obvious why they did it.

For a lot of us, it only solidified our support.

They are afraid of Cain. As they tried with Clarence Thomas, they will do anything to keep him, his values, his message, and his abilities away from national politics.

“President Bush can’t swim”.

Now they will file charges because the men, who have been to a ton of sexual harassment classes, don't make them feel good about themselves! (heavy eye roll)

This is a convoluted racism but racism nevertheless. One NBC (a more liberal venue) analyst referred to the “known black sexuality”, something often referred to in narratives of the 19th Century but rarely since. Liberals are racists. They believe minorities are inferior and dependent upon the government. They are little more than animals that must be herded and cared for. Conservatives, on the other hand, believe they can compete on a level playing field, that they can control their sexual passions, etc. Liberals are racists.

Bad picture to show.

Granted, WE see a young man with a big smile talking to a young lady.

“They” will say he is flirting with her.
His hand is there for a ‘reason’ and why is his other hand in his pocket?.

Think punch line “Only enough to win”.

Family site etc, will just leave it at that - I am sure it will be figured out.

No, I’m a guy telling you it’s a dupe posting. Some people (maybe not you) might want to read comments already posted there. You’re welcome.

I agree.

And I also take issue with the “spin” that Cain doesn't know about Lybia, because he didn't give a slick political non-answer to what most likely was a reporter looking for a “gotcha moment”.
The question was something to the effect-IIRC-
Do you agree or disagree with Obama’s policy on Lybia?
My own knee jerk reaction would have been:
Which policy are you talking about?
