So, basically you’re giving your family the gift of you being banned from Free Repubic for Christmas? It’s certainly creative.

The Romney by default argument might have been cogent eight years ago, but four years ago it was proven faulty when we nominated an old fool moderate just because he selected Sarah Palin as his running mate.

The issue is no longer vote for the default nominee because the alternative is disaster. The issue is now, find a third party candidate who will cause conservative turnout to vote for her to be so overwhelming that the down ticket seats will be swept into the Republican/conservative/tea party ranks and thus blunt the satanic barry bassturd from his final mischiefs.

You can take your Romney by default crap and stuff it back where you dropped it from at Freerepublic.

"If the Tea Party rallies around Mr. Cain, we may be able to save our republic."

I agree. I respect Gingrich's intelligence and his knowledge of history and I hope a future President will put that knowledge to use for the good of the country. But Gingrich has too much baggage - documentable baggage, not hysterical accusations - to ever be elected (as a republican; as a democrat he would seem relatively clean and be given a pass).

I'm sorry, but Ron Paul - despite many provacative ideas worthy of debate - comes off as an uninformed extremist. Shut down the Dept of Energy? Yeah, right. We'll just let all the nuclear power plants police themselves. I think NOT!

Look me up, smartie; likely been here longer than you.

Just did; nope. My tenure at FR predates my handle by years.

And that doesn't matter; JR doesn't suffer Romney supporters, no matter how long they've been here.

Pinging the Romney supporter Viking Kitty brigade.

If you let the GOP establishment know that you will back their candidate no matter what, then they have NO incentive to ever listen to your desires and demands, because they can safely ignore you and still count on your vote.

So be a good little sheep and follow your GOP masters. I'm going to draw a line in the sand and so "no further!" at the top of my lungs.

we have zero chance of losing the house, no one not even the democrats think they are retaking the house, and the only question in the senate is whether we will have a super majority or not.

Herman Cain served himself well last night and Michelle Bachmann ROCKED.

Not one primary vote has been cast.

Plenty of time for TEA Party patriots to have our say!

Keep the faith!!!

At least we can try to run a true conservative in 4 years instead of having Mitt run again.

Provided, that is, that there are still elections five years from now.

Problem is: Cain is very lazy for learning his job and ridicule himself every 5 seconds. His ego is so big that he thinks he does not need to learn the job. Anyone who is even considering voting for a guy like Cain is exactly the reason why we are becoming the stupidest voters on earth.

Sad state of affair considering that we are the conservatives - supositely the brightest..not anymore evidently.

The bar was lowered to the ground with obama - now we put the bar UNDER the ground with Cain.

Actually there is: If Obama wins, the country and the democratic party collapse. If Romney wins, the country and the republican party collapse.

Amen to that. If we have a nerd like Cain - and don't forget: he was also for affirmative action - or a bad rino like all the others but Bachmann, then WE disappear. If obama is reelected that will be a catastrophy of course but at least the democrats will be dead.

I am not sure I am right on this one because obama is able to put the country on fire but still - oh well.

I don't know anymore. The stupidity of the conservatives is so astonishing - and not being able to have a strong and true conservative candidate with some executive experience and who knows where is Israel is absolutely incredible...on 300 mil people in the US and we could not find better than the field we have now? Incredible.

The stupid party indeed. We are so screwed..

Only if Romney chooses Palin as vp will I vote for him.

But I don’t think there’s much chance he will.

So that's it then. The worst president ever is our new bar. How low are we going to go? And Palin was not good enough for you guys huh? ...right.

I prefer Palin but she’s not running. Cain’s next most conservative. I support him. The establishment will never allow him to even run for President.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but “they” control the elections, the schools, the media and the courts. That means Romney’s going to be the Republican candidate for President.

So, what can we do about it?

So, what can we do about it?

Cain is a conservative because he has no experience and flip fflop every 2 seconds on abortion - muslims and all? Just being a "conservative" because you ahve no experience and obviously not willing to learn is not in my book a sign of conservatism. What is he going to do when the whole machine will be against him? Ridiculous. The guy is so not ready at all and he will just bow to his "principles" like he did in front of cair and all.

So what do we do about that? Well, since the hatred against Sarah was so "in" we just kicked out the only TRUE conservative with executive experience and proof that she walks the walk and not only the talk. Could we help the "reconsider" movement at C4P? Or can we put her name on the ballots everywhere we go? After all Alaska had a write in and she won! Palin is much easier to write that murkos...whatever.

I am not giving up on her yet. I am not dreaming either but we still have one full year. Let's see what happens. Only Sarah is worth it to be president and save the country. Will she have the guts to come back? I don't know and I am pretty upset with her right now. But facts are facts. Only one true conservative with experience - Sarah Palin. Think what you want. That's what I feel. If enough if us would have the will to call her back, she will come back. She said We The People have to make our destiny. If she is called she will come back. Are we ready to make the right move, for once, instead of going to back the couch and say oh well.. and vote for romney

Sadly I don't think so but hey, one can dream? No rush anyway to decide yet, right?
