A RINO can actually do far more damage than a liberal when Republicans control one or both houses of congress. The reason this is so is because there are a certain number of what I call partisans who will vote for (anything) if the president has a matching letter to theirs after their name, while the exact same people would fight to the death if they exact same thing had been proposed by someone with a different letter than them after their name.
So as things stand right now, we have a Democratic president, and we hold the house. We will still hold the house and most likely the Senate too after the election, thus if Obama gets elected ... nothing will happen, it will be gridlock.
BUT if a RINO like Romney gets in... there is no telling what kind of liberal tripe he will be able to pass.
Instead of just repealing Obamacare... we would get the RINO version of it.
Instead of actually sealing the border and deporting the illegals... we would get a “comhensive plan” aka amnesty.
Instead of cutting federal spending... we would get increases to the programs favored by the RINO’s
I could go on and on.
With Obama we get gridlock, we a RINO we are worse off than now.
Of course the best solution would be to elect a conservative like Cain who working with a Republican congress can actually get us back on the right track.
actually you are wrong, there is a reason besides pride to not vote for Romney, and here’s why:
