If we’re going to call for people to grow above political correctness and not be offended by casual comments like this, then we’d better get to it, give it the shrug it deserves, and move on.

It is true that mac and cheese (real, not the boxed stuff) is a soul food favorite, along with the equally delicious greens and ham hocks.

Different demographics do seem to gravitate to certain foods and flavors. I worked a Burger King when I was in High School and could bet my minimum wage check that every black customer would choose Hi-C orange as their beverage. It doesn’t mean that they all do but through observation I learned that most did. Just like most Italians like pasta.

Pat wasn’t being racist like the MSM want you to believe, he was being senile.
He honestly thought that Mac n’ Cheese was an ethnic food from africa in the same way sauerkraut is from Germany, Sushi is from Japan, and Polish Sausages are from Poland.
He is gettin’ old.

To: trumandogz
It grows on trees, in Africa. That tree also provides housing, medical, food, dental and education. It's the government tree. Macalicious.

There has been a spaghetti tree in downtown Phoenix at the Spaghetti Company restaurant for over 30 years.

Mac n cheese has never been soul food. It’s been a southern or Tennessee staple as far back as I can remember. We always had ham and Mac n cheese at my friend’s house since I was a youngin’. Good stuff.

Drew Brees loves his beefy mac (mac & cheese with ground beef) on the eve of his games. Look for the Saints to beat NOLA native Eli on Monday night.
Pat, exit stage right or left, just get off the stage and go hang with other stooges like Jackson and Sharpton.

I worked in the Chicago Hyatt Regency sundry shop (1984), and noted that 80% of the black customers order Kools (often pronounced "kəuhlz"). The French favored Tareytons (Tair-ee-tunz) and the Japanese liked Kents (Kent). International visitors also requested Parliament more frequently. Only Southerners ordered Larks.
