Yes it does. If you "invested" $70,000 into Social Security over a 40 year period, you are not "stealing" getting your investment plus interest back.

The fact that the government is using your money in a ponzi scheme does not mean that those entitled (i.e. they paid in) are thieves.

In my case it's been $130K in the past 41 years- and my employer matched it. That's $260K paid in over 40 years .... and I'm stealing when I collect my benefit ???
