LOL. I’ve tried, but don’t like liquor. Now beer, I love.

“My friend liked it so much he named his arab horse after it.”
Aye, that’s a good name for a horse!
You should try it, it’s pretty good.
And it definitely would make a lovely gift, very festive.

You can get him a bottle of 15 year old
Balvenie single malt scotch for about $54. It's really nice.

If he likes a peaty malt - Laphroig quarter cask is good and not too pricey. Lagavulin is another good one.
On the lighter side - and my late husband's favorite - Glenmorangie.

My local Liquor Store had on display: Macallan Thirty Year, price: One Thousand Dollars, lovely but too rich for my blood.

And if you want to know what drinking from an ashtray is about, try Loch DhuWow - thanks for the warning! And on Laphroig, too. I know there's a big market for those or they wouldn't be out there, but you have to be hard core to drink this stuff on a regular basis. It took 2 years to knock off the Lagavulin - lol!
Cheers!

Laphroaig is *very* good stuff. Aye, that it is. As is Bowmore. Here's another one I've come to enjoy
18 year old Bunnahabhain. Nice. Not so peaty as Laphroaig. Haven't tried the 25 year old.
