LOL. I’ve tried, but don’t like liquor. Now beer, I love.

“My friend liked it so much he named his “arab” horse after it.”

Aye, that’s a good name for a horse!

You should try it, it’s pretty good.

And it definitely would make a lovely gift, very festive.

You can get him a bottle of 15 year old Balvenie single malt scotch for about $54. It's really nice.

If he likes a peaty malt - Laphroig quarter cask is good and not too pricey. Lagavulin is another good one.

On the lighter side - and my late husband's favorite - Glenmorangie.

My local Liquor Store had on display: Macallan Thirty Year, price: One Thousand Dollars, lovely but too rich for my blood.

And if you want to know what drinking from an ashtray is about, try Loch Dhu

Wow - thanks for the warning! And on Laphroig, too. I know there's a big market for those or they wouldn't be out there, but you have to be hard core to drink this stuff on a regular basis. It took 2 years to knock off the Lagavulin - lol!

Cheers!

Aye, that it is. As is Bowmore. Here's another one I've come to enjoy

18 year old Bunnahabhain. Nice. Not so peaty as Laphroaig. Haven't tried the 25 year old.
