I thought Clemson got the ACC title 2-3 years ago when the NCAA took it away from Georgia Tech for some sort of violation. Perhaps they meant the first title they actually had to play and win.
The NCAA took away the win but Clemson wasn’t awarded it. Stats now show no ACC Championship winner for 2009.
Glad we won. I was worried for a few.
