THOUSAND OAKS, California - Two years after his life and career came crashing down, Tiger Woods is a winner again.
One shot behind with two holes to play, Woods finally looked like the player who dominated golf for so much of his career. He birdied his last two holes Sunday, making a 6-foot putt on the 18th, to win the Chevron World Challenge by one shot over former Masters champion Zach Johnson.

That's your opinion. I'm a bit old fasioned, I guess.
Huh?
He was using a good putting technique, and hit the putts on the line and distance he intended. However, he couldn’t figure out the exact line and speed he needed, because the greens were fast, tricky, and half-covered with shadows at this time of year.
Could care less or couldn't care less?
*Yawn*
I don't care if he wins 100% of the tournaments played; just another black who married a blonde white woman when he could afford it, as arm candy. And, the media replays a meaningless putt a dozen times, because their GOD made it.....
There was a time when I felt that way, more or less. After Tiger won his first Masters, the adulation became offensive; particularly when he was only playing so-so golf. Then around 2000, he went on a tear and won all the majors plus a load of other tournaments.
There would be something to what you say if Tiger had been mediocre his entire career; but he hasn't. After his performance in the final round of the President's Cup, and this win, Tiger looks to be on the way back to a level of excellence. Eat your heart out.
If you hit a 50 foot putt, and it stops inches from the cup, you are putting pretty well. If you miss by a foot, and run ten feet past the cup, then you are not putting well.
Quite a few of his misses left tap-ins, which do save strokes over the course of a round.
but I believe that inter-species mating is not what God intended, and shows human weakness and lack of values.

I’m having trouble posting this because I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Laughing is winning at this point. OK. I lied. I’ve been laughing since reading your first post on this thread.
Do you seriously believe that Thais and African Americans are different species?
Love the irony of you asking if someone else was indoctrinated in a publik skool (your spelling) when you demonstrate your complete ignorance re: species.
Hilarious and unbelievable.
Even if Tiger regains his old form, the rest of the tour has caught up to him.
LOL
Eat my heart out?
Why?
I could care less what he does, as I'm not into envy, awe, or being excited about any athletic accomplishment at all. The fawning and drooling of "fans" and the State-Run-Media over some certain Ethnic stars is indicative of the problems in values and prioritization of life's meaning, IMHO.
Could care less or couldn't care less?
I feel very strongly BOTH ways...LOL
Without cross-breeding of grasses, we wouldn't have the beautiful fairways and greens on the golf courses.
Combining disparate genetic information produces hybrid vigor, where the issue is superior in trait to the two separate components.
Of course, using your train of thought, a case could be made that Tiger's hybrid vigor is perfectly suited to the hybrid grasses on which he plays, making it particularly unfair to the inbred lads of Ireland who tend to excel on the unfettered coast link courses.
This is true, particularly amongst the players in their mid-twenties.
Yes, I made reference to that in my first post.
Tiger now has 72 PGA wins, only one back of Nicklaus's 73 and again gaining on Sam Snead's record of 82.
So, not earth-shaking, but for devotees of golf, a significant move forward, especially nearing Jack.
What was more incredible was Tiger's use of Mickelson's flop shots around the green. That's something you'd never see with Steve Williams on his bag, for sure.
No, not necessarily. I just wanted to vividly point out to you that the opposite of cross-breeding is inbreeding.
Have a nice day
I shall, thank you very much. U2
