No, it doesn’t look good to me either. Cain admitted that he gave this woman money, financial support over the course of many years but never told his wife about it until the story broke in the media. I would have no problem with my husband helping a woman in need, even if she was “disreputable¸ but then not telling me about? Over the course of many years? If I were his wife, I would be kicking some a$$ and taking names later. A truly honorable person, even if he wasn’t having sex with the other woman, just doesn’t keep those kinds of secrets from his wife.
That Cain was, by his very own admission providing money and support to this woman¸with or without a sexual relationship, makes me think he doesn’t have very good judgment.
I at first dismissed the other allegations but I’m not so sure now. That’s not to say that Cain isn’t brilliant and right on many issues but I have doubts on his ability to lead in a truthful and honest fashion if he was so capable of lying to his wife of so many years.
No, he said he has helped lots of friends out financially. I wonder how many were men?
Cain has admitted three things about Ginger White:
One, he thought of her as his friend.
Two, he gave her money.
Three, his wife didn’t know.
What does White’s lifestyle...savory or unsavory...have to do with what Cain himself has admitted?
