We Need a 28th Amendment Requiring Fairness (vanity)

With all this talk of fairness today , the only solution is to legislate fairness. We need a Constitutional Amendment requiring Fairness in everything that happens in this country. We have been a country for 235 years and things just have not been fair for so many people. We have the right to life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We need to have the right to fairness. Isn't that what BHO called for today?

Fair is a place where you eat cotton candy and ride the merry~go~round. There isn’t much in this life that’s fair. I should amend that - when fair happens should be considered serendipitous and enjoyed for the fluke that it is..

Obama was channeling Teddy Roosevelt today. He included a good number of soundbites from really great and positively received TR speeches, most of them given just before TR gave away the Korean people to Imperial Japan for punishment.

I suspect Obama has something like that in mind for us ~ maybe starting with Israel as a warm up exercise ~ but he'll get around to us as well.

It's gotta' be tough being a bipolar narcissist.

And here I thought the Constitution was a fairness document.

Fairness is a favored word of communists. It allows them to take a high ground in all arguments.
Life isn’t fair. Get over it.
You have the right to life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. Happiness is also not guaranteed, just to right to seek it.

...among these are life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and all the things that his neighbors have.

It is fair when you have Rule of Law—and laws which are Just (Right Reason According to Nature—not arbitrary law based on cronies and friendships).

Everyone is equal under the law. Little zero wants communism, though, and no Rule of Law....he wants Rules by Zero (and Barney Frank or Larry Sinclair). He is forcing fascism and Marxism and godlessness on the masses.

“Fair” has no definition. It’s whatever liberals say it is.

TR was a socialist and a progressive. He fell for the popular elitist thinking of the day and thought that socialism could really work.

Who decides fairness?

Ever read "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut?

I think he was nuttier than a fruitcake as well. In hindsight he was not all he seemed to be.

NO. Sounds a bit scary though... Are you contemplating one man to make these decisions?

Now, maybe you are being a bit sarcastic and if so, well, making my point. Looking him up on the internet did not give me any good feelings...

To paraphrase Mao Zedong: “Fairness comes out of the barrel of a gun.”

Well, that does sound like the Democratic Party today! Take the Panthers at voting places that were okay with the Justice Department...

Fair? Progressive income taxes, hell, income taxes and property taxes are not fair. Get rid of them.
