Sounds like you will have some good compost cooking! Hopefully, I will have chicken litter this coming year ... a good chicken coop and yard is getting closer to the top of my to-do list.

Your community garden has my prayers. You have come so far with it and that is quite an accomplishment. I can't wait to see photos!

How many chickens will you be using to fertilize your garden? chuckle. In January, we’ll be extending our little garden inside the pasture (2 horses live there, neighbors horses) I’m using some gates not longer in use, then cattle panels to hold the veggies as they climb upward. I’ll be revitilizing our raised gardens and buying some earthworms to “plant” in them. I’m also thinking of making my own earth/manure pots to start seeds, but for next year. I saw some in a seed book and thought what a great idea, why not try making some.
How is Mark coming along with his injury? He’s still in our prayers.
