As a Baylor grad, this is very exciting.

I certainly realize that the Heisman Trophy is about college football and the accomplishments of an individual player. It doesn't rise to the level of what has to be done to vote Obama out of office this coming November.

Still, it will be sweet to see Griffin get the trophy for these reasons:

1). Baylor is a Christian institution.
2). Baylor's president is Ken Starr.
3). Baylor is a private school, not state-run.
4). And it's in Texas, a pro-God, pro-gun, right-to-work state.

Those four things will frustrate the liberals to no end! So apart from RG3 himself, aren't those enough to hope he wins?

Well said! Much excitement in the whole community about RG3. Baylor has always had a great relationship with the city of Waco, they are good neighbors and community partners. We are all pulling for him. It’s been great to see their football program take off and see good things happen for a hard working local athlete.

LaWoman3, ping to local excitement.
