Seen it countless number of times with the Cowboys,

When they only need one more first down to ice the game...they can’t get it.

When they only need one more defensive stop to win the game....they can’t get it.

They are the team with the lowest football IQ in the NFL, and that goes from the owner down to the players, they are a very stupid football team, and why, even though I’ve lived here for over 20 years, I cannot root for them.

Cam Newton is not a team player and will always be a problem on any roster who has him! The rest of the team gets tired of his $hit pretty quick!

Exactly. It takes a different mindset to diagram plays and schemes than it does to manage and lead a group of people.

The Giants are not as good as the Saints or Packers. They’re probably not as good as the class of the AFC either (Ravens, Pats etc..).

That does not change the fact that when you absolutely have to have a game winning touchdown drive, Eli Manning plays great and has authored a large number of them including - and I’m not overstating it here - the single greatest play in the history of the Superbowl.

He’s proven himself to be a clutch player.

It also helps when you're going up against the Cowboys' defense.

When it comes to 4th quarter comeback / game winning drives, he’s been doing it for years.

He’s not an all time great QB. He has plenty of flaws but being un-clutch is not one of them. When you absolutely positively need a touchdown to win a game you will do very well if you have Eli Manning as your QB.

things that would have worked to Dallas’ advantage didn’t. Case in point: the mishandled snap by Manning that would have resulted in a second and about twenty came back and wound up being a fisrt and five. Why? Demarcus Ware jumped offside. Stupid things like that happened all night. Defensive holding calls, which are seldomly called, seemed to come out of the woodwork. Dallas got hit with several of them resulting in first downs for the Giants when they needed a spark. And the safety at the beginning of the game was a harbinger of negative things to come for Big D. Simply put, the Giants wanted it more. Dallas choked. The Giants are now 3-0 at Cowboys Stadium. I’m just glad Dallas won’t have to face the Packers at Lambeau Field. It’ll save them from getting a cold, severe a$$ beating.

“... I will give better than 50:50 chance that the guy holding the trophy next February will have the name Brees, Rogers, or Brady on the back of the jersey....”

As long as the name ISN’T Rothlesberger, I’d be happy with any of those, except maybe Brady.

They try to justify his numbers over Tim’s victories. Their lives are filled with “if onlies”. If only Cam had a defense, if only Cam had a field goal kicker, if only if only if only..... Go, Tim.

and don't forget Tebow had four of his passes dropped in yesterday's game.

My husband, a Cowboy’s fan and avowed agnostic, made a comment last night that if “Tebow doesn’t get his crap together, the Bronco’s are gonna drop him next year”. At which time I told him to check Tebow’s record and at 6-1 Tony Romo would kill to have the same. Hubby got real quiet after that.

Two seconds after the Bronco’s won, I looked at him and said “Tebow will begin getting his crap together once he’s done celebrating another win”. Hubby just glared.

Snicker - he went to bed in even a worse mood after once again his Cowboy’s chocked.

Not to dismiss the play of Eli Manning tonight, but Romo could have won this by completing a pass.

And the defense could've stopped the Giants if they hadn't committed numerous stupid penalties. Cowboys are 5th worst in the league in this.

One man does not make a team ... that goes for Tebow and Romo. Tebow didn't beat the Bears by himself and Romo didn't lose to the Giants by himself.

I think Eli gets a bum rap, because he is compared to his brother, although last time I checked they are even in the number of Super Bowls won. I consider him to be in the top three or four QBs in the league.

Stupid penalties have been a staple of the Cowboys for years. That's what happens when you have head coaches that are considered to be Jerry's puppets. Jones got it right when he hired Parcells, but Jerry couldn't stand it that Parcells was able to make the playoffs with freaking Quincy Carter at QB, and knowing that Parcells ran rings around him in the football IQ department, so Jerry sabotaged Parcells.

You wouldn't think that if Eli didn't play the Cowgurls twice a year - that would take away two clutch wins!

Now, if Denver plays the Cowgurls, smart money will be on Denver.

"If the Giants win the division, they will be very dangerous in the playoffs..."

I love me Jints....but I don't see that happening.....not with the Swiss Cheese defense this team plays.....outside of a few guys on the Defensive Line.....this team has no linebacker and secondary personnel....and their defensive coordinator is horrible....it always comes down to whether they can out score their opponents in high scoring affairs...(they only forced 2 or 3 Cowboy punts)

Even with a terrifically bad D....props to Jason Pierre-Paul...that kid is a monster.....was all over the field the last 3 games.....and he is only gonna get better....

and lastly....what else can you say about Eli....he has been doing it all year....finally coming out from behind his brothers shadow....he has really matured into a top notch QB....he now carrys his team on many occassions...

As for the 'Boys...they were a half step way from winning the game....but those be the breaks in the NFL....got to make the most of your opportuities....

Careful. You're walking on a Raiders trademark there...

I suspect their IQ will be going up fairly soon.

I think a lot of how you define “top QB in the league” matters a lot. Stat wise, I’d put him between 5-10 kind of QB. In the clutch, game on the line, have to have a game winning 80 yard drive...Eli’s in the top 3. He might even be #1. When the you have to have it, Eli is MONEY.
