There’s been no shortage of establishment-minded Republicans and members of Congress to have served in the 1990s that have come out and endorsed Mitt Romney for president, or raised concerns about Newt Gingrich’s candidacy. But perhaps more unexpected has been the emergence of outside-the-Beltway conservatives to bolster Romney’s candidacy in the few weeks before primary voting begins Jan. 3 in Iowa. A surprising group of conservatives have lined up for Mitt Romney – or, at least, against Newt Gingrich, the former House speaker who’s zoomed to frontrunner status on the strength of his support from anti-establishment Republicans.

Suspiciously well-timed ‘conservative cover’....
MSNBC which hates conservatives and refers to them as hate mongers, racists, idiots etc now says that conservatives support Romney. So I guess conservatives are now Romney supporting racists, hate mongers and idiots.
The media has picked Romney to be our candidate. They even decided that real conservatives love him! The guy who was already talking about caving to democrats “who love America too” in last nights debate. Excuse me while I puke.

On Intrade less than a week ago, Romney was below 45%. He took a major hit as Gingrich was rising in the polls. Next thing you know, the media, Romney surrogates and establishment GOP pundits begin hitting Gingrich left and right (I have some issues with Newt, but the media NEVER attacked Romney’s terrible record the way they do everybody else’s... it’s sickening. He is coddled because he’s the liberalist candidate).
They’re pushing the same b.s. narrative that the guy who was pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-gay & made the blueprint for ObamaCare is inevitable & that he’s the only “electable” candidate, so we all have to “fall in line”.
The liberal media is blatantly manipulating the public... until he’s up against their true chosen ONE. The media is NOT going to keep throwing him softballs in the general election. They will suddenly start caring about abortion and conservatism. Now, do we think Romney’s going to stand up for conservative values against Obama or is he going to try to out-liberal him like he tried to do Ted Kennedy? Romney has never stood up for conservative values so we can take a wild guess what route he’s going. And he’s going to try to drag us down with him.
Can you imagine him as our nominee and trying to explain why “RomneyCare covers baby killing with a 50 buck co-pay and oh yea, it gives free healthcare to illegals too.”
The ONLY reason he’s considered electable to the MSM is because he’s viewed as a moderate/liberal. It’s not because he’s a “conservative”. All we have to do is look at his record to see he’s anything but conservative. He even described himself as progressive.
Then, real conservatives are stuck defending a tissue paper-thin candidate. Romney WILL lose in the general election.
