Slackers??!! Hmmm, I may resemble that remark

The Montana Recall Act stipulates that officials including US senators can only be recalled for physical or mental lack of fitness, incompetence, violation of the oath of office, official misconduct, or conviction of a felony offense. We the undersigned call for a recall election to be held for Senator Max S. Baucus [and Senator Jonathan Tester] and charge that he has violated his oath of office, to protect and defend the United States Constitution.

Thank heavens that someone is paying attention to the lunacy and oscitating activities of their elected officials. Montanans Launch Recall of Senators Who Approved NDAA Military Detention

Well if elected officials can be recalled for incompetence, why can’t we get rid of big zero at the Waikiki White House?

,i>Last week, however, Congress approved legislation that would allow FEMA to waive many of the debts. President Barack Obama signed the measure — part of a $1 trillion spending package — into law last Friday.

Iowa must be pretty disgusted with all this right about now. Especially anyone who isn’t even a pubbie.

Hey, Stranger, hope your Christmas was merry. I was just at the grocery store thinking of you as I bought some butter flavored crisco baking sticks that is all measured out. I was grinning, thinking about how you turned me on to those little babies. Now I can’t live without them. Was looking at your bread recipe this morning, too.

Back from doing an estimate I didn’t expect to do till next week-luckily (I hope) the customer came home from visiting relatives early- she was afraid they’d get stuck at the airport in Denver in a crushing crowd if they waited until Friday-

As we watch Obama frolic in Hawaii
It mostly invites oscitation-
But just then you begin to wish
He’d extend his latest vacation

When he is on a tropical island
Soaking up that warm Pacific sun
By his own admission he’s “lazy”
Golfing and having so much fun

Too busy loafing to be meddling-
So at least for that little while
That he’s fixated on enjoyment
We might all breathe easy and smile

I couldn’t live without those Crisco sticks! Poor hubby was terrified he bought the wrong ones 2 weeks ago when I added them to his list, he bought the regular not butter because I only wrote Crisco sticks. Silly wabbit, I would have told him if I wanted the butter ones :)

Christmas was merry, but very nice and quiet, just the 3 of us. Hope your was just as merry!

Oh, and as you mentioned in post #23, you’re right, we not sheep and we are armed. And Santa added to the armament this year by stopping by Ruger before visiting me :)

I thought you were armed-are you going to get a pistol? My .38 police special was given to me at age 15 by my dad and is close to me at all times. I have a .357 too, but the little .38 is by far my preferred self defense weapon-I would recommend it as a good weapon for a woman.

I’ve never be unarmed, just didn’t have a handgun. I’ve only fired a few rounds from it and so I can’t make an informed decision yet as to whether or not I need something smaller. I was probably not much older than Jax the last time I fired a handgun.

Heck, Jax is a better shot with a long gun than I am, but she has more more practice. We’re joining the sportsman’s club that has the range where the 4H Shooter’s Club meets every month. She’s been a member of that for 3 years.
