Noun
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

I traded a target pistol that belonged to the late Mr T5 to my brother for a 12 gauge pump shotgun awhile back, and I had the chance to try out its deterrent effect last summer on some trespassers walking on the deer trail below the fence looking for a place to fish and get stoned. I yelled get off my property from the deck twice and when I got no response, I just pumped the shotgun-the results were instant-running feet and yells of “Oh s***!” all the way to their truck hidden in the underbrush...
Good for Jax! Always best to teach kids gun use and safety young, no matter what squeamish people say. My daughter belonged to the rifle club in high school, and she was dead on with the 6mm rifle hubby and I gave her for hunting. I haven’t fired my 270 deer rifle in over a year-I don’t have a place to hunt right now anyway...

I hate when that happens. Somehow I missed the meeting where it was decided I was registrar of the Vestry for another year. I have to put up with all the BS that goes on, but have no say in any of it.

She loves it, and Charlie instilled in her the safety of use long before she even joined. I was taught gun safety long before I ever even fired one because my father was a cop and so there was a handgun in the house at all times. He and my grandfather, also a retired cop and an avid hunter, taught my brother and I how to shoot properly.
As I said, I only fired a few rounds from the 9mil, I’ll take it out a few more times before Charlie decides I need to level down to a .380. LOL
Well, I was company secretary and traded down. I was, also, fireboard rep which meant another meeting each month. I recruited someone to take that slot. My husband knew I would do the secretary thing, but wanted out. He is still president for another year, that’s what he gets for letting me go meet Vast and not coming with me. He did show up after the meeting and got to meet him.
