Sounds like the women were participants on a TV game show:
“Thanks for playing our game, and we have some lovely parting gifts for you”.
If they were promised nothig else, and not force to appear on said game show; I fail to see a legal problem here....a moral one? Sure, but until we get the morals police that so many appear to pine for, they have no recourse.
