Korean? Wow! It looks hard.
Happy *hiccup* New Year! *Burp*
I am so new to this that I probably don’t yet know what I’ve bitten off to chew. I’ve bought a Korean dictionary, two Korean for beginners books, a companion workbook and a colloquial Korean book. I’ll have access to CDs from Indiana University that accompany one of the beginner and workbook sets and now found a free online Korean course that uses flash cards. Still, I want to find someone nearby who can help/guide/tutor me. There is an Army base close by with some Korean spouses who may be able to mentor me so hopefully, I’ll be able to make an honest effort.
I also want to begin violin lessons too so something else is going to have to go out of my life in order to accomodate these new interests. Been feeling my mind is stagnating so I need to fire up the brains cells and get a few synapses popping and cracking.
Interestingly, from what I’ve read, the Korean language is easier than the Japanese or Chinese.
Wish me luck and good study habits. Thanks for your comment. Have a happy, healthy and prosperous new years!
