Giving Away the Farm [Obama plans to give missile technology to Russians]

...President Barack Obama's administration recently threatened to veto the defense budget, citing "serious concerns" over provisions that limit the U.S. missile defense know-how that the White House is permitted to share with Moscow... the Obama administration may simply be willing to hand over this information and, in doing so, weaken U.S. national security...the House of Representatives passed the defense bill. It included the provision that the president's team finds so offensive: Section 1228 requires that no funds can be used to provide the Russian Federation with sensitive U.S. missile defense technology... The Senate debate over New START raised questions about what the Obama administration may have promised Moscow regarding U.S. missile defense plans... In a treaty about reducing offensive weapons... Russians required the Obama administration to include U.S. defenses in the bargain... Congress discovered that the administration has been working on a missile defense agreement with the Russians and that Moscow had requested that the United States share with it loads of sensitive U.S. missile defense technology and operational authority as part of that deal. In the administration's eagerness to please the Kremlin, it may just oblige. The House of Representatives has given a firm "no" to that prospect through its decision to ignore Obama's veto threat and approve the defense appropriations bill by a veto-proof vote of 322 to 96. The Senate may act similarly. On April 14, 39 Republican senators sent a letter to the president expressing their concern over the administration's consideration of granting to the Russians sensitive U.S. technology and "red button" authority to prevent the interception of incoming missiles headed for U.S. troops or allies. This would allow Russia to deny the United States the ability to intercept a missile Washington had determined to be a threat...

Why not? Clinton gave it to China. This is what you get with Democrats and the people love their Democrats.

What is more destructive than a nuclear attack on America?

Obama in the White House.

The treasonous traitor needs to be behind bars, not just on this account alone.

Yep, Clinton authorized the sale of classified missile guidance technology by Loral who made substantial contributions to the Clinton campaign. Clinton sold classified missile technology giving China the capability they now possess to reach our shores with nuclear warheads. That is treason.

I am not sure what he intends to give away, precisely, but it sounds like the family jewels. The beauty of missile defense is that it increases uncertainty in the minds of an adversary. The more they know about it, not only does it give them a road map to countermeasures, it exponentially decreases their uncertainty.

Not to mention that Obama gave Russia the launch codes to a shipment of missiles going to the UK.

Clinton did it for money. Obama is doubtless getting plenty of money for this, but is also doing it out of pure hatred and evil.

Based on the moves that he has made in the last month or so I’m convinced he is TRYING to get the Repubs to go after him ala Clinton in order to help his reelection chances. He seems to be doing everything he can to get this moving quickly so it can build and stew and he can have an effect on the election: drone in Iran, missile tech to russia, multiple appointments over Senate while still in session...

It’s been building slowly as though he hoped to have already had it in place by now to garner the sympathy of his cohorts on the left, but the repubs have been more forgiving and a heck of a lot less vocal than he expected. Now he’s been pushing hard and fast getting what he wants, shrugging his shoulders, and hoping eventually they will go after him. If they don’t he still gets what he wants, if they do he plays the victim that the left is so good at and cries foul hoping to recapture some of those he lost from last go around.

Well.

REALLY?

This is what the little communist poofter believes he should do?

Handcuff the defense of u.S. AND Allied troops in any instance of attack? At Russia's discretion?

Uh-huh...

Ok, if little bammy thinks that is the way to go lets really get him in the game.

Let's dish out "Red Button" Authority to Russia that let's them prevent the SS from defending him against an attack on HIS sorry butt to whomever Moscow deems appropriate.

No more 300 agents guarding him and the Moose's Michelle's global vacation jaunts.

No more bullet and rocket-proof tank disguised as a Cadillac.

"Serious concerns" ya know...

But hey, he can have a brand new (factory-reconditioned) Chevy Volt with an on-board Tom-Tom GPS!

Just don't get too close to one of those LightSquared cell towers, ok?

.
