I’d say that this person is angling for dog owners to seek “professional advice.”
We have three dogs, and we have plenty of arguments. But the dogs have never been significant provokers of arguments, as far as I can recall. I think I’ll skip the professional advice.
If a family is arguing over dog issues...in only is a reflection of how they learned (or did NOT learn) to “argue” or communicate....sheesh....I just got peeved at my husband this a.m. who took the cone off our dog (recent leg surgery)...and left it downstairs...I chose to take a quick shower, and subsequently the dog chose to chew her bandage...so I got to spend an extra 2 hours at the vet today....so goes life!!! Some people need to get a life...LOL
ding ding ding - we have a winner
sigh all I’m allowed is some goldfish and crayfish... wife is terrified of animals as she wasn’t permitted to grow up around them.
Concur. Dogs are animals and are meant to be loved and enjoyed not pampered.
Most dogs want and need a job. If you can figure out what it wants to do and let them do it, everyone is happier. Unfortunately, my dog is an exceptional pointer (nose pointing at desired object, tail straight out, and paw cureled up), but is very gun shy. And it refuses to fetch, so the dog and I are out of luck.
