No... we have so many feral hogs here in Texas, they are easy and cheap to harvest, trap, bow, rifle, pistol, whatever, provided you do your own processing.

We went through all this twaddle with the nitrates and the nitrites back in the 70s. So I guess some lazy psuedo-scientist is going to try to get their 15 minutes of fame by recycling that tired old baloney! No pun intended. What else are they going to recycle on us? Liesure suits? Bell bottoms for men? Double knits?

Hot dogs are also linked with cancer, especially childhood cancerIs that from the outdated and now debunked 10 year study from way back when? Around the time they said coffee was bad, butter was bad, and eggs were bad, but had to back off later?
BTW, ALL apples contain cyanide.

Just imagine what Mayor Bloomberg will do to the NYC restaurants with this study. After all, he just wants the best for all of his people.
When bacon is outlawed, just imagine what the ‘speakeasy’ scene will be? Will there be a real chef’s mafia? Will Anthony Bourdain keep his TV show or will he put out a contract?

I’d rather die of Cancer than not eat glorious delicious Bacon.
They can take their study and shove it up their asses!

The apple/cyanide thing was a solution in a GI Joe RAH episode using a “candy coated poison” to kill some out of control dumb super organism created by Cobra interfering in some science experiment. I couldn’t resist the 80s trivia.

It’s a phony study because it was done on cancer patients only. I’m sure they could find other common factors. In fact, I’d say they hand picked the result, i.e., excluded other possible factors. Age, sex, drinking, smoking, genetics

Bacon, or is it the nitreates in the bacon? I bet is the nitrates.
But the government won’t emphasize that.
