For the sake of this argement it doesn’t really matter. If you are a CHristian and believe there is one then the only true loving response is to try to help others to not got there.

Take that a logical step further. How many times in the Bible does it say “God is Love?” And, if “perfect Love casts out fear”, all these people who are holding on to fear or saying “fear God” are actually keeping that experience of Love out of their lives and are torturing themselves. John was correct when he stated “Whoever claims to Love God yet hates a brother or a sister is a liar.” ..... “Anyone who Loves God must also Love their brother and sister.”
If people could only understand why this is very true, the world would be a far better place. It is only the promise of “Heaven on Earth” in the future that gives me hope as we encounter the difficulties that lie ahead.
Most importantly, If our Savior gave us two critical commandments to obey, anytime we interpret a lessor rule or regulation in a way that causes us to violate the greater commandments, we are getting off the path.

I know the two commandments you speak of so you don’t have to explain that. Jesus says that these two commandments fulfill the Law and the Prophets. So this is the end unto which the Law was made and the Prophet’s fortold. So did the Law change or did the Prophet’s prophecy wrongly. Did one jot or tittle of the Law change. No they exist to point us to the Love and Mercy of Christ which is what we preach.
Don’t get the impression that I go around condemning people for the life they choose. In fact I know many gay people, mainly through work, and none have ever received a condemning word from me. In fact I go out of my way to love and support them because I know the damage caused by the “God hates Fags” people. That does not mean that if questioned or if a conversation heads that way I would withold the truth. To me it is Love that demands it. That truth is that we are all in need of a Saviour.
